Joe's story was published on the front page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Sunday, October 22, 2006.  A follow-up story was featured on March 4, 2007.

A segment taped by PBS was shown on Friday, February 23rd, 2007.  It also featured an interview of children from St. Rocco's that were taught by Joe.  

Channel 8 also featured him in segments that aired in April and May on their 5:00 show along with video and web blogs.
