Valentines Day is just around the corner. Many singles will be on the prowl for a new date. I have a bit of a guideline to find the right mate. It’s a very important life decision to find the right person in your life, so it pays to make sure you get it right. These tips will work for men or women.
First off, check their teeth. Get right in there to make sure they have a good set of chompers. If I were you I’d do that on the first date so as not to waste any time on future dates. Carry a flashlight with you so that you can see everything. Make sure the batteries are good because if they are low you won’t be able to see much with a dim flashlight. Watch how they chew their meat. If they chew from side to side like a cow, then that’s no good either.
Next you want to see if they are intelligent enough for you. Ask them a few questions. These questions will surely help winnow out the neandrethals. First ask, “How many fingers am I holding up?” If they answer correctly, then you have yourself a gem. Next ask a more complex question. No need to settle for a medium-bright one when you can go for the gusto and find yourself someone that has lots of brains. Ask the question very slow though since it is tougher. You want to be considerate after all. Ask them “If a green light changes to red, what should you do?” If they say “Stop!” then you got yourself a winner. Again make sure you ask the question slow. At any time if they look at you with a shocked face, then their brain can’t process the question quickly enough. Tell them to git.
Of course you want to be with someone that is healthy, so the next test is to have them complete some calisthenics. If you are eating dinner somewhere you may have to clear some space for this one. Ask them to do 10 jumping jacks followed by 10 squat thrusts. Tell them they are being timed. Start them off with two claps. If they complete it by the time you finish your beer or wine, then you have yourself a healthy one.
Next check to see if they have a good sense of humor. Tell them your favorite knock knock joke. The louder they laugh, the more you are closer to finding the perfect mate. If they don’t laugh at all, then ask for the check.
It’s important to make sure you are compatible though, so you’ll have to see if there is a spark between the both of you. Look into their eyes and keep looking. Keep going until someone sneezes or coughs. If you don’t sneeze of cough it means your body is telling you that you are good for each other. After all your heart is connected to most all the rest of your body so they work in unison with each other. You might as well start planning a list of people to invite to the wedding reception.
If you like them give them a handshake before the night ends. Do that tickle thing with their palm to let them know you are keen about them. They will get the message and will await your phone call for a next date.
If they pass all these tests then they are a keeper. Don’t wait for another fish to come your way. You won’t do any better. And don’t try to fix them if they don’t pass any of these tests either since that will just give you headaches. Write me back when you pick a wedding date.

Some restaurants decide not to stay in the Restaurant.com program because of how people try to give the restaurant a hard time about the rules on tipping. We were at Grovewood and they said that they had people that felt that the tip shouldn’t be included and off the whole original undiscounted amount and include that tax. Tips should at minimum be at 15% if the service is good. Sure, you can fight about the tip if service is real bad, but it’s printed on the rules that tips are included, although I’ve had some restaurants not do so even though it’s in the rules. When you’re getting a great discount, piddling about a questionable dollar or two is not worth it. It ruins a great deal when couponers fuss too much - Grovewood decided not to do more restaurant.com’s because of the issues, but will still accept any that were already purchased. They put the rules in because they know there will be some people that try to cheap out on the tip. There are times when couponers need to stand up and go toe to toe for consumer rights, but this ain’t one of them.
