They are selling a minimum of 9 seats per flight with one way tickets of $9, before taxes and fees.  Flights will be from the hub in Toledo and Lansing, MI, South Bend, IN, Minneapolis, MN, Newark, NJ, and Melbourne/Vero Beach, FL.  They are serving markets that have lost a lot of their flights when airlines pulled back operations in their airports.  Flights start July 13th.

SARA'S PLACE

I bought some $25 gift certificates for $2 on restaurant.com (80% off) for Sara's.  Not all restaurants do this, but they allowed me to use it with their happy hour food and drink specials (M-F 5 to 7 PM).  It's in Gates Mills, so there aren't too many people using coupons there.  I did see Wilma Smith and Frank Russo there.  Check the Links section of my web-site for restaurant.com deals.  I keep it up to date with the codes and percent off deals.

They also allow the gift certificate to be used for drinks and food including happy hour specials.  We were there the other week and the waiter spilled a full glass of red wine all over me...good thing I wasn't wearing my white corduroys, but I did have on my light colored jeans.  They gave us the wine for free, but my wife said they should also include a free meal.  They did.  They also gave me a voucher for drycleaning for my jeans, shirt, and coat.  I found out when I went home to change that I needed drycleaning for a 4th item of clothing.  Yes, the wine soaked down to my underwear too.

Did you ever go to a place that was just the best for people watching.  Dak's is the place.  It's a dive and hasn't changed in forever.  Now you won't hear Bobby Vinton tunes there, mostly grooving line dancing songs and urban music.  A very eclectic mix of people.  I have some friends that won't step foot in there.  And there are some, well make that one, that it is a must stop when we go out.  I fill up my diary after every time I go there. 

 

Thanks Cavs for a great season...they will win a championship...some tinkering and they should be right in it again next year.  GO CAVS!  GO TRIBE!!
