I like buying items that have a dual usage. It has to be practical. Some people get junk that just clutters up their house. I get stuff that I can use. For instance, my cats don't just provide me happiness. When they curl around my legs it relaxes me. But they also double as a bandana. They get a little squirmy, but their unique patterns are fashionable and they keep me warm. And I can talk to them more than just a regular bandana. They also clean themselves so I don't have to put them in the wash like a regular bandana too.
Another item with dual usage is a pickle. I can use it as a q-tip too. Their nodules give the needed traction to clean out any stubborn wax in my ear.
Toast makes for a great hat and it also can be used to wipe up spills and dry up a car better than a Shamwow.
Another item that I took some time thinking about other uses for it is a fart. Yes, it provides instant relief for your body, but when I'm getting robbed it is instant comic relief too. What robber is going to continue on robbing you when you orchestrate a pungent moving tune? They just back up and run.
And one last item that I find more uses for is peanut butter. Don't have glue? Then use peanut butter. If you need to put your fake eyelashes on then I'd recommend using peanut butter to attach them. Or if you are hanging a poster up of a unicorn traipsing on rainbows in your room, then I'd use some peanut butter to hang it up in your room.

FREE MEDICAL DAY
Get free medical care on May 2nd or 3rd at the Cuyaho County Fairgrounds. Plan ahead. It will be busy. With unemployment so high and many jobs offering little or no health care, it's a sign of the times. Instead of more jobs offering better health care it's reversed and the trend with health care costs increasing means it will get worse. Something needs to change so that more jobs offer good health care instead of the government. Health care costs need to go down for businesses and people. Click here for more info on the event:

BANKRUPT
General Growth Properties - the second largest U.S. mall owner - they own Beachwood Place.
STORE CLOSINGS
Fine Interiors - Euclid - they got into some trouble about switching tags.
Boaters World - on Mentor Ave.
Levin Furniture in Mentor - lost their lease and the new building they will be moving into isn't open yet.
Wood Manor - Kirtland - they have cats that roam the store that make for a pungent stink in the store - apparently there must be a futon there that doubles as the cats urinal.
