New Our Town and Savvy Shopper Booklet Available!

NEW OUR TOWN COUPON BOOKS

The new Our Town book are available.  Over 120 more pages than the 2008 book!  A new WINERY section was added with coupons for wineries across Northern Ohio.  Included in the book are golf, fast food, West Side Market, pizza, entertainment, movie, and birthday coupons.  Same price as last year - $25.  If you order from my web-site, it will cost $26 (includes shipping and handling).  Others will charge more for shipping and handling.  See me at one of my classes or pick the book up to get it for $25.

SAVVY SHOPPER BOOKLET

While you're shopping on my web-site also order a Savvy Shopper booklet.  Filled with savings tips.  Dozens of topics including travel, gas savings, home heating, cell phones, weddings, credit cards, and much more.  Over 130 pages!  Around 1,000 different web-sites listed.  Only $8 for the booklet (includes shipping and handling).  Normally $1,000!...or at least I think it's worth that much.  Get it before I decide to increase the price.  You're bound to find something in it that will save you money.

DRUGS AND BUGS

Did you know that pharmaceuticals are being found in drinking water in many cities across the U.S.  Whatever goes down the drain or toilet can end up in the drinking supply.  So next time you are drinking a cold glass of water from the tap you may also be getting a dose of crazy Mrs. Smith's from down the street's daily drug potion.

And while you are drinking that cup of water I'll have you know that the FDA allows bug parts in food.  Yes, they allow a certain amount of maggots, flies, larvae, and even rodent hair in everything from chocolate to peanut butter to pizza and pasta sauce to flour.  Pretty much everything you eat is allowed to have bugs in it.  Read this story about it:

Perhaps the meal you just ate had bugs on drugs...

Dear Joe, Its wonderful what you are doing. I did go to the
Super KMart here and found that all the prices were raised and there are no free products. They were way ahead of your line of thinking.

Thanks Viebshen. Which K-Mart did you go to? Were the prices different than what was on the spreadsheet, including the items that were in the sales ad? Which items did you notice the price were raised? I was at three different K-Marts and the prices were the same as what was on the spreadsheet. There is a chance just like at all stores that certain areas have overall higher prices at their K-Mart. Most chains do so, but it's usually not a huge increase unless costs to run the store are much higher in certain areas.
