Handshake & Deals o' the Week

I wanted to break the routine of my day, so I decided to great everyone with a handshake.  Good morning.  Handshake.  Person exiting store.  Handshake.  Where is the Caress soap I asked the salesclerk.  Handshake.  Made eye contact with a customer down the aisle.  I rush to them and give them a handshake.  Enter the little cowboys room.  hmmm...that's enough of this routine.

Reminds me of someone at Giant Eagle in Willowick.  There is a stock guy there that if you are within 15 or 20 feet of him, he will say hello, how are you doing.  I've tried to skirt his verbal orbit, but somehow he will always greets me.  Maybe if I rush by him as he has other customers near him.  Nope.  I get the, hello, how are you.  It's not a chipper greeting either.  It's more like a monotone robot-like greeting.  Very nasally.  Nice guy, but it's kinda creepy.  Go there and you will see what I mean.  Give him a handshake when you see him.

Many school supply items are 9 cents apiece.

MCDONALDS

The Dollar menu may be increasing in price or portions might get smaller.  It's affecting most of the fast food restaurants since the price is so good that they are having a hard time keeping it at $1.  Funny how a dollar menu means it's ok to charge $1.09 or $1.19.  Why not put $1.99 items on the dollar menu.  Maybe I should open a store called Everything is Free and charge people $10 to come in and then charge them a $2 handling fee for each item.

FIRESTONE

Guaranteed lowest price oil change at $15.99 - find a lower price and they'll beat it by $4.

MUNRO BRAKE & MUFFLER

Pay the score of the Sunday Indians game for an oil change - Indians won 5-2, so the oil change will cost $7 plus disposal costs which is around $3 for a total price of around $10.  Let's hope for a 1-0 shutout win this week.
